PROJECT IN MWASIP-MRDRMP WEBSITES MANAGEMENT TRAINING

As a way of ensuring that the MWASIP and MRDRMP websites are managed as smoothly as possible, the Project Management Unit for both Malawi Resilience and Disaster Risk Management Project (MRDRMP) and Malawi Watershed Services Improvement Project (MWASIP) organised the Joint MWASIP-MRDRMP websites refresher training that was held in Salima district on the 20th January, 2023.

In his opening remarks, the MWASIP Component 3 Lead, Mr. James Daire called on participants to take the workshop seriously. Daire noted that the inactiveness of the websites is a hindrance to the projects’ visions and goals in facilitating the exchange of information with the the general public on what the projects are doing in their targeted areas. The meeting focused on the presentation of the overview of the websites and working sessions on the management of the websites.

The Project Management Unit (PMU) has developed two websites for MWASIP and MRDRMP respectively are aimed at showcasing the project milestones while also acting as a database for the two projects.
